HVAL Scholarship Program Archive: 2006
The Annual Scholarship Show of HVAL will be held this year at the Welles Gallery, Lenox Library, Lenox, MA from March 30 until April 27.

2006 marked the 31st anniversary of the HVAL High School Art Scholarship competition! We awarded $2500 in scholarships to the three artists who share the First Prize award. Five artists received Honorable Mention awards, which include a gift certificate from JWS Art Supplies in Great Barrington, MA. Congratulations to all students - best of luck in your artistic futures.

From the judges: "This year the judges selected the winners based on originality of work, consistency of vision, and technical skill. We also saw work that was highly sophisticated in concept and execution."
